Intern Data EngineerWe are seeking passionate and motivated Data Engineer to support Cartago site. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering and analytical solutions that are easy to consume.
Job responsibilities include:- Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and BI solutions using tools such as SSIS, Python, and GitLab.
- Proactively recommend requirements and/or process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices.
- Partner with business product owners to set and align business priorities.
- Responsible for validating that the delivered product meets the strategic business objectives through activities such as demos, etc.
- Provide support on issues before, during, and after deployment.
- Interact with the business areas and production units to understand all data requirements to develop business insights and translate them into data structures and data model requirements to TEC Ops team.
- Active enrollment and at least 70 PERCENT of their study plan completed.
- Fluency in English at a level of 60 PERCENT is required, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- This temporary internship, lasting 6-12 months, requires university enrollment throughout the duration.
- Experience working with Power BI and Python preferred.
- Experience with GitLab is a plus.
