Technician - Commissioning (Chiller & Heat Pump)

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, commissioning and servicing of chillers, heat pumps, FCUs and AHUs.
  • Conduct site inspections, equipment checks, and performance testing to ensure optimal operation.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issue related to refrigeration cycle, pumps, electrical panels and control system.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
  • Maintain proper documentation of commissioning reports, daily logs and handover sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedure during all site activities.
  • Prior experience of working with electronic controlling, PLCs is must.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in HVAC or industrial heat pumps or chillers system commissioning.
  • Good understanding of refrigeration principles, water circulation system and control logic.
  • Ability to use commissioning tools, gauges and electrical meters.
  • Basic Knowledge of BMS (Building Management System) is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
