Purpose:
The HR Head - IR & ER at Adani in Pirpainti, Bihar, plays a crucial role in managing Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) within the Power/Energy industry. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with 17-25 years of experience who will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee all aspects of Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) within the organization.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective conflict resolution strategies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's goals and devise HR plans to support them.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in negotiations with unions and other labor organizations.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance overall employee satisfaction and retention.
- Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of the HR department's performance and implement improvements as needed.
Technical Skills:
- Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations in the Power/Energy industry.
- Experience in managing unionized workforces and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office suite.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Expertise in Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER).
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and negotiations.
- Strong leadership and strategic HR planning capabilities.
