Position: MEP Engineer

Salary- Rs.35,000 to Rs.70,000 per month

Location- Nagpur

Educational Qualification: - Diploma or BE in Mechanical /Electrical

Work experience (in years) :- 10 to 12 YearsRoles and Responsibilities: -Extensive exposure Project management, planning, Execution, Testing and Commissioning, handing over & Billing of packages as (Electrical HT Up to 33 KV & LT, HVAC Low & high Side, DG Sets Low & High side Elevators, IBMS, Plumbing, Firefighting's, UPS.

Key Skills/Experience the Candidate Should Have -Technical (T) and Non-Technical (NT):-

• Planning, scoping, tracking & implementation of project plans within present budgets and deadlines.
• Handling the effective resource planning for optimizing man & machine utilization, reducing wastes.
• Managing activities pertaining to installation as well as commissioning of a wide range of equipment.
• Conducting inspection, pre-commissioning, and functional testing to ensure the performance capacity of various machines and equipment.
• Studying drawings, plans or patterns of pipes, equipment, tanks to be repaired as per client's requirements.
• Preparing layouts for the project as per the process and material flow needs.
• Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same.
• Conducting site preparations, mobilization of contractors for carrying out all the related fabrication & erection commissioning of equipment
• Interacting with third party design & consulting teams for approvals of design specifications
• Developing materials & installations submittals forms, along with materials materials datasheet & installation method, Providing engg advice/comments & approving shop drawings, materials & equipment submissions from the contractor.
• periodic site visits to ensure adherence with requirement of materials & installation specifications.
• Providing on site & offsite design review & modifications
• Supervising system & commissioning with reviewing & approving compliance of agreed commissioning activities & signing off internal project quality certificate.
• Completing engg design activities with project schedule requirement.
• Implementing approval process, forms, and procedures as per policy requirements.
• Ensuring that key project decision and/or corrective actions are made in a timely manner & one well communicated to all staff.
• Carrying out the Inspection of the major equipment's and ensuring dispatch clearances.
• Procurement/ Purchase Management: -
• Overseeing the quotation collection as well as negotiation with the parties and reconciliation; forwarding the quotation to the head Office for approval & issue the work order.
• Handling the procurement of raw material (bare pipe) and fabrication of bends, reducers flange as per requirement of Projects.
• Taking care of the Bills Certification and ensuring payments as per the agreed timelines mentioned in the Tender.
• Preparing the cash flow cost controlling and ensuring the achievement of targets.
• Co-ordination with all MEP Vendors & Civil works
• Attending Inspections /Witness Tests along with Third party Inspections
• Design Review: -MEP
• Ensuring the design is safe, economical, efficient, construct able & ensuring adherence of specifications as approved by recognized apex bodies such as ASHRAE, ASTM, UL, IEC, IS etc.
• Developing flow diagrams, shop drawing, as built drawing, control logics & P&ID with the help from draftsmen as per standards & specifications of systems.
• Developing & preparing of design brief, materials, installation specifications & work breakdown structure for value engg analysis & sound recommendation of budgeting
• Value Engineering without diluting the original Intent /Design /Specifications
