Job Description: Senior SAP CO Consultant / SAP RAR Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP CO Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Controlling and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR). The role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, support, and coordination across SAP CO, FI, and RAR areas.

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP CO Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs, conduct requirement-gathering sessions, analyze business processes, and document customer requirements.
  • Implement and support SAP CO functionalities including cost centers, profit centers, product costing, and profitability analysis.
  • Configure modules such as GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, and CO.
  • Provide technical and functional support during deployment, go-live, and maintenance phases.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including other consultants and ABAP developers.
  • Prepare documentation such as blueprints, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
  • Plan and personalize customer journeys while ensuring scalability and consistency.
  • Manage workshops, client meetings, delivery tracking, revenue planning, and profitability.
  • Coach junior team members and act as a sub-project leader when needed.

SAP RAR Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and integrate SAP RAR with SAP FI.
  • Lead at least one full lifecycle SAP RAR implementation, including migration activities.
  • Provide support, maintenance, and enhancements for SAP FI and RAR modules.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
  • Conduct user training and provide support during upgrades or implementations.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of RAR processes (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT).
  • Prepare documents, test scripts, functional specifications, and summary reports.
  • Conduct scope validation workshops and prepare business blueprints.
  • Support cutover planning and data migration activities.
  • Work closely with Data Services and BI/BW teams to define functional requirements.
  • Provide post-go-live support to ensure process stability.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP CO experience.

  • Ability to manage workshops, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
