About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Automation Engineer to join our Audiovisual Engineering team within the Business Technology organization. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing scalable automation solutions that support the delivery of consistent and reliable corporate audiovisual services. You will work closely with technical leaders, architects, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, streamline operations, and deliver high-impact automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

● Maintain and enhance our core audiovisual automation platform.

● Act as a technical escalation point for tools and technologies related to AV automation.

● Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability.

● Design and develop custom integrations, tools, and automation workflows to address complex or unique challenges.

● Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure high code quality through QA best practices.

● Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and operational standards.

● Contribute to documentation, process development, technical standards, and design architecture.

● Provide training and support to other network and AV teams to promote automation adoption.

● Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

● Lead and facilitate team discussions, offering constructive feedback and technical guidance. Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, helping prioritize and manage team eff orts effectively.

Required Qualifications:

● 5+ years of IT experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on coding, ideally in the networking or automation domain.

● Strong proficiency in Python, API development, Bash scripting, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.

● Experience with Go, Lua, RESTful API design, and best practices.

● Hands-on knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, and experience with microservices and container orchestration platforms.

● Proven ability to automate manual processes using structured workflows.

● UI development experience is a plus.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders.

● Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and data fl ows.

● Familiarity with modern computing technologies, including Linux, containers, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

● Adherence to secure coding practices and software development best practices.

● Understanding of ITIL-based practices such as change, incident, and problem management.
