Key responsibilities include leveraging tools like Journey Builder and Automation Studio, coding with AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS, and integrating with other systems like Salesforce CRM via APIs. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing, and experience with regulatory compliance are also essential.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop solutions: Create and maintain marketing automation solutions using tools like Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.

Build and customize: Develop dynamic and personalized email templates, CloudPages, and other content using AMPscript, HTML, and CSS.

Data management: Write and maintain SQL queries for audience segmentation and data management within data extensions.

Integrations: Integrate Marketing Cloud with other systems, such as Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and third-party applications, using REST/SOAP APIs.

Performance optimization: Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates) and optimize for better engagement and return on investment (ROI).

Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulations like CAN-SPAM and GDPR.

Required skills and qualifications

Experience: Typically, 5-8 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS.

Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP) for integrations.

Experience with key SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder.

Marketing knowledge:

Deep understanding of digital marketing processes, including cross-channel marketing and campaign orchestration.

Experience with personalization and data-driven campaigns.

Soft skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus.
