We are currently looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team and grow with us.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations (prep, cook, plate).
- Prepare ingredients for menu items (chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.).
- Cook basic menu items under supervision, following recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations at all times.
- Follow kitchen safety standards, including proper storage and labeling of food.
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen inventory.
- Support in cleaning duties at the end of each shift.
- Be open to learning new skills and techniques from senior team members.
Requirements:
- 6 months to 2 years of kitchen experience in a café or restaurant preferred.
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexible with work timings, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety.
