The RoleThis position will supervise a dynamic team of Bengaluru-based individual contributors and collaborate with counterparts globally. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and company-assigned KPIs are met. This is an opportunity to contribute at an innovative company focused on improving lives and advancing sustainability initiatives in the industrial sector through technology.Your Impact
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the procurement team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Assist with the procurement process, including supplier qualifications and screenings, requisitions, purchase order creation & changes, RFx, contracts, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Track and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to procurement.
  • Assist in the development and training of new and junior employees.
  • Perform individual contributor tasks as needed to support the team.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of functional experience in procurement, preferably within the software or technology industry.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management and review, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a supportive and collaborative team environment.
