We are seeking a
detail-oriented and analytical Quality Analyst (QA)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and focusing particularly on
database testing
. This role requires a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain
    test plans
    ,
    test cases
    , and
    test scripts
    for software applications.
  • Perform
    manual and automated testing
    to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct
    extensive database testing
    , including writing and executing
    SQL queries
    to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like
    Jira
    ,
    Bugzilla
    , or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, integration,
    and
    performance testing
    .
  • Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    1–3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC
    and
    STLC
    (Software Development & Testing Life Cycle).
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Manual testing
  • Automation testing
    using tools like
    Selenium
    ,
    Cypress
    , or
    Appium
  • Database testing
    using
    SQL
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as
    Jira
    ,
    Bugzilla
    , or
    Trello
    .
  • Good knowledge of
    Agile methodologies
    (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    .
  • Excellent
    communication skills
    and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
