Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Coimbatore

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with prior experience in an audit office and strong knowledge of GST filing. The ideal candidate will manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and assist in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage daily accounting transactions, including ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
  • Assist in statutory audits and internal audits, coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Review and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collection and payment.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations.
  • Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance; CA/ICWA intermediate or qualified is a plus.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to audit firms.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
