Respiratory Therapist

Job description

1. Conducting PFTs: Performing pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and diffusion capacity tests.

2. Respiratory care services: Providing oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory care services.

3. Patient assessment: Assessing patients' respiratory status and developing treatment plans.

4. Equipment management: Operating and maintaining respiratory care equipment.

5. Data analysis: Analyzing test results and identifying abnormalities.

Requirements:

1*. Respiratory therapy certification:* CRT or RRT certification preferred.

2*. PFT certification:* CPFT certification preferred.

3*. Strong technical skills:* Proficiency in operating PFT and respiratory care equipment.

4*. Excellent communication skills:* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Skills:

1*. Technical expertise:* Proficiency in PFTs and respiratory care services.

2*. Patient care skills:* Ability to provide emotional support to patients.

3*. Analytical skills:* Ability to analyze test results and identify abnormalities.

4*. Communication skills:* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
