Job Responsibilities:

• To establish, implement and maintain internal quality control in Laboratory and participate in EQAS and ensuring satisfactory results. Maintain IQC, EQAS and ILC records.
• Escalating critical values to lab incharge / Doctors and immediately informed to primary physician.
• Ensure to take appropriate corrective action and preventive action for any QC and EQAS outlier.
• Liaise with colleagues and other inter department staff to meet organizational mission and vision.
• Monitor the Maintenance and calibration of equipment at regular intervals.
• Monitor all Quality indicators of department within stipulate target limit on monthly basis and report the summary to Quality Manager /Technical Manager and Lab Head.
• Completely aware on all trouble shooting procedures of all equipment in the department and ensure all reports released within TAT/STAT.
• Coordinate with equipment service persons after registering complaint regarding malfunctioning of any equipment and ensure smooth functioning of all equipment 24/7.
• Handling the fully automated analyser.
• Maintaining and calibrating of equipments at regular intervals.
• Ensure to take appropriate preventive action t not to receive any complaint from physician and patients.
• Critical values are escalating to lab In-charge / Doctors or primary physician.
• Review and report the lab results in a timely manner and also required that they identify and communicate results that may require further investigation or discussion within charge.
• Monitoring waste disposal and maintaining the records.
• As per NABL criteria maintain and continuous monitoring of all the documents and records.
• To attend telephone calls politely and strictly adhere to telephone manners.
• Supervise all activities of department.
• Any other work assigned by HOD.
• Reporting to Head of the Department.
