We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our products meet quality standards before deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver bug-free releases.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e. g., JIRA, Trello, ClickUp).
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
  • Contribute to setting up and maintaining test environments.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, ensuring QA efforts are well integrated into the SDLC.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation (test cases, test data, and test reports).
  • Provide input on improving QA processes, coverage, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience with manual testing techniques and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e. g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) - nice to have.
  • Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST APIs).
  • Experience with test case management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred (Good To Have)

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
