JOB Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

The major / primary roles and responsibilities of the job will be as follows, including but not limited to:

Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions for consumables, spares, bulk items, indirect raw materials, and project items within TAT at a competitive price and acceptable quality.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Ensure compliance of legal, statutory and safety requirements related to procured goods & services.

Cost reduction through value analysis, Alternate vendor development and ensure optimum stock level of auto procurement items.

Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.

Work closely with the sales & Marketing teams in India.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for marketing materials, services, and vendors, identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.

Co-ordinate with marketing, creative, and brand teams to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.

Stay up to date with market trends and emerging suppliers to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the marketing team.

Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, tracking all contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.

Prepare regular reports for senior management on procurement activities, savings achieved, and key supplier performance.

Experience

Atleast 7-10 years experience in purchase function, preferably in an purchase function.

Education Qualifications

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electronics.

PGDBM / MBA will be an added advantage.
