Vacant Position: Executive/Senio Officer/ officer /Technician/ associate - (softgelatin)-Solid Oral Production

  • Experience: 3 to 13years
  • Qualification: B. Pharmacy/M.pharmacy /ITI / Diploma

Job Description:

  1. Production Activities:

  2. Execute and monitor softgel capsule manufacturing processes:

  3. Gelatin mass preparation

  4. Encapsulation (with rotary die machines)
  5. Tumble drying and tray drying
  6. Inspection and polishing

  7. Sorting and packing

  8. Ensure smooth operation of encapsulation machines and related equipment.

  9. Equipment Handling:

  10. Operate and maintain softgel-specific equipment:

  11. Gelatin melting and holding tanks

  12. Encapsulation machines (Technophar, SGM, or equivalent)

  13. Tumble dryers, drying tunnels, inspection systems

  14. Perform equipment cleaning and changeover as per SOPs.

  15. Documentation:

  16. Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), logbooks, and other GMP documentation.

  17. Record in-process parameters, deviations, and observations as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  18. Compliance & GMP:

  19. Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.

  20. Participate in audits, validations, and qualification activities.

  21. Quality & In-Process Checks:

  22. Conduct in-process checks such as seam quality, fill weight, shell thickness, drying status, etc.

  23. Coordinate with QA/QC for sample collection and testing.

  24. Support root cause analysis and CAPA implementation in case of deviations.

  25. Safety & Hygiene:

  26. Follow safety protocols in handling gelatin, oils, and APIs.

  27. Maintain cleanroom and controlled environment standards.

  28. Ensure personal and equipment hygiene standards are met.

  29. Team Coordination & Training:

  30. Assist in training junior operators and helpers.

  31. Coordinate with maintenance and quality departments to ensure timely issue resolution.
