Tandoor & BBQ Chef

We are looking for a skilled Tandoor & BBQ Chef who can handle traditional Indian tandoor dishes and modern BBQ/grill items with expertise. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of marination, grilling techniques, maintaining the tandoor, and delivering consistent taste and quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesTandoor Duties

• Prepare and cook tandoori items such as tandoori chicken, kebabs, naan, roti, kulcha, paneer tikka, etc.
• Manage and maintain the tandoor oven temperature.
• Ensure proper marination and pre-preparation for all tandoor dishes.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, tenderness, and presentation.

BBQ & Grill Duties

• Prepare and grill BBQ items such as shawarma, grilled chicken, BBQ wings, kebabs, seafood grills, etc.
• Handle charcoal or gas grills with proper temperature control.
• Monitor cooking times to ensure juicy, flavourful results without overcooking.

Kitchen & Hygiene

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
• Follow all FSSAI guidelines and restaurant policies.
• Properly store meats, marinades, and ingredients to avoid wastage.

Operational Work

• Coordinate with kitchen team and ensure items are prepared on time during peak hours.
• Assist with inventory management, including meat, spices, and marinades.
• Maintain equipment like tandoor, grill, skewers, and ensure they are in good working condition.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef / Grill Chef / BBQ Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tandoor dishes and grilled items.
• Ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments.
• Good understanding of marination techniques and meat handling.
• Team player with good communication skills.

• Ability to work extended hours during weekends/festivals if needed.
