Job Summary : As a Senior Software Development Engineer Test I, you'll play a critical role in building high-performing, scalable systems.

Leverage test automation frameworks to Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks for both frontend (UI) and backend (API/services).

Key responsibilities :.

- Employ testing tools and frameworks to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment lifecycles.

- Responsible for Implementing end-to-end (E2E) automation tests using industry-standard frameworks

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and translate these into effective and efficient automated test cases.

- Advocate for shift-left testing by enabling unit, integration, and e2e testing in development cycles.

- Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements.

- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve test stability and coverage.

Skills and attributes for success :.

- Deep familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with proven experience delivering high-quality software in agile environments.

- Expertise in API test automation (e.g, Rest Assured).

- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns (e.g Page Object Model) for building maintainable, scalable test automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools to enable continuous testing.

- Experience with iOS or Android testing frameworks, including cross-platform solutions.

- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and thrive in fast-paced development cycles.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for cross-team collaboration and constructive knowledge sharing.

- Knowledge of building test infrastructure and managing test data.

- Experience with Docker images, device farms, and parallel test execution.

- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, TestNg, Allure, or similar, for managing test cases, tracking defects, and reporting on test execution results.

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (Vegeta, Gatling, etc.) is a plus.
