Job Summary:

BSR Reddy Hospital is seeking a dedicated General Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic skills, be able to manage common illnesses, and offer preventive healthcare guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Assessment:

  • Observing and assessing patients: Monitoring vital signs, recording observations, and assessing patient conditions.
  • Patient intake: Obtaining health histories, measurements, and vitals.
  • Developing and implementing care plans: Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and execute patient care plans.
  • Monitoring patient progress: Tracking patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  • Providing emotional support: Offering comfort, reassurance, and guidance to patients and their families.

Medication and Procedures:

  • Administering medications:

Following physician orders to administer medications safely and effectively.

  • Performing medical procedures:

Assisting with procedures like wound care, dressing changes, and IV therapy.

  • Operating and monitoring medical equipment:

Using and maintaining medical devices to support patient care.

  • Taking samples and tests:

Collecting specimens for laboratory analysis and performing diagnostic tests.

Education and Communication:

  • Educating patients and families: Explaining health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
  • Communicating with healthcare team: Sharing information with physicians, other nurses, and staff members.
  • Maintaining patient records: Documenting patient information and updates in the patient's health record.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Supervising other nursing staff: Providing guidance and supervision to LPNs, nursing assistants, and other nursing staff.
  • Ensuring patient safety: Maintaining a safe and clean environment and ensuring proper handling of medical equipment.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives: Contributing to efforts to improve patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: ANM/GNM with relevant experience

Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.

Good communication and patient interaction abilities.
