Role Description
The Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the organization's IT strategy, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include planning and directing IT initiatives, leading diverse technology projects, ensuring compliance with data security standards, and improving operational efficiencies through innovative solutions. The Deputy CIO will also support the Chief Information Officer in developing technology policies and fostering IT best practices across the organization. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chandigarh.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge in IT Management, IT Governance, and IT Architecture
- Experience with Project Management, Strategic Planning, and Process Improvement
- Proficiency in System Integration, Network Administration, and Software Development
- Strong leadership, team management, and collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to align technology initiatives with business goals
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the IT department of an organization across industries such as Telecom, Pharmaceuticals, or Financial Services is highly desirable
