Job Description : Lead AI Automation Engineer

Position Overview :

Are we seeking a highly experienced and motivated person Lead AI Automation Engineer with a proven track record of leading automation and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring at least 12 years of engineering experience, with prior technical leadership, solution definition and delivery. This individual must be a motivated self-starter capable of driving both the solution architecture and hands-on development of automation and AI-driven solutions.

The role demands a deep foundation in workflow automation, system integration, and API-driven development, proficiency in cloud-native architectures on Azure, and curiosity in applying next-generation AI technologies to enterprise challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Leadership :

- Define and drive automation solution architecture across business domains.

- Translate business processes into scalable automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Logic Apps, and Azure services.

Hands-On Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy Power Automate-based automations, along with Logic Apps, Function Apps, and custom scripting.

- Build and optimize API-based integrations across enterprise systems.

- Develop agentic AI solutions, leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.

- Apply prompt engineering to optimize AI model performance.

Team & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Share knowledge and best practices with other automation developers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business objectives.

- Establish best practices, governance, and reusable frameworks for automation development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 1215 years in software/automation engineering

- Automation Background : Strong foundation in Power Automate and workflow automation, with experience in Logic Apps, Azure

Functions, and process orchestration.

- Programming Skills : Proficiency in Python (preferred), with knowledge of at least some of C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.

- Cloud Expertise : Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Power Platform, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure DevOps, and Azure AI services.

- Integration Expertise : Proven experience in API development, system integrations, and workflow orchestration.

- AI/GenAI Knowledge : Exposure to or hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Agentic AI development, Prompt Engineering, and RAG architectures.

- Mindset : Strong automation-first mindset, with the ability to reimagine business processes through simplification and AI-driven enhancements.

- Leadership & Communication : Excellent communication skills with very strong English language skills, strong articulation skills and ability to create narratives for complex scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience working in enterprise environments with complex integration landscapes.

- Understanding of the M365 ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, SharePoint integration).

- Familiarity with governance and security frameworks for automation and AI adoption.

- Continuous learner, with curiosity for emerging AI technologies and automation frameworks.
