Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Network Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation development, particularly using Python and the Robot Framework, and a solid understanding of 5G Core Architecture and Design. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automation code using Python and Robot Framework to enhance testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions.
• Utilize REST APIs and JSON for effective data handling and integration.
• Analyze network protocols including HTTP/2 and QUIC to ensure robust automation solutions.
• Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of automation scripts and network issues.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Provide support and training to team members on automation tools and best practices.

Mandatory Skills
• Extensive hands on experience in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
• Proficient with REST API and JSON data formats.
• Good understanding of network protocols, specifically 5G Core Architecture and Design.
• Hands on experience with Linux commands.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and version control systems (Git).
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt quickly to new technologies. Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of LTE/5G technologies.
• Understanding of IP Multimedia Subsystem Architecture & Call Flows.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Familiarity with traffic tools such as Spirent Landslide. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of relevant experience in automation engineering and network engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
