We are a small cafe specializing in continental and Italian cuisine, looking for an experienced chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious dishes and a flair for presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, following the cafe's recipes and menu
  • Plan and prepare menus, ensuring food quality and consistency
  • Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the cafe owner and team to develop new menu items and specials
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as necessary
  • Train and mentor junior staff members

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a chef in a similar establishment
  • Strong knowledge of continental and Italian cuisine
  • Excellent cooking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a clean workspace
  • Good communication and leadership skills
