Senior Full Stack Python Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Full stack Python Engineer( 5+ Years) to join a dedicated team of architects, engineers, and designers. In this role, you will be a critical contributor to building the platform from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire stack, from developing sophisticated data ingestion and processing pipelines to creating intuitive and interactive dashboards that will be used by teams across the organization. This role requires a blend of strong backend logic, modern frontend expertise, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively in a focused, agile team.

What You'll Do

· Design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of the

Resilience Metrics Platform.

· Collaborate closely with the UI/UX developer to translate Figma mockups and design

requirements into functional, modular, and reusable React/Material UI components for

real-time monitoring dashboards.

· Utilize popular JavaScript libraries for real-time dashboards such as ,

, Highcharts, Recharts, ECharts, and

· Work with the backend engineer to design, build, and consume secure, reusable RESTful

APIs using FastAPI.

· Contribute to the development of the data ingestion and ETL framework, helping to

build and maintain collectors for various data sources like AWS APIs, ServiceNow, and

Datadog.

· Implement business logic for metric evaluation based on externally stored, human-

readable rule definitions.

· Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, ensuring high quality and

maintainability.

· Actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups,

collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex challenges.

· Ensure the seamless integration of front-end UI with the backend API and data layers.

· Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline setup and ensure smooth deployment processes.

Required Experience & Skills

· Experience Level: 5+ years of professional experience in a full-stack development

role, with a proven track record of building and launching complex, data-intensive

applications.

Frontend Expertise:

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development frameworks,

specifically React.

· Experience with UI component libraries such as Material UI.

· Experience with real-time dashboard libraries such as , , Highcharts,

Recharts, ECharts, or

· Familiarity with WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time data updates.

· A solid understanding of frontend best practices, including state management,

component-based architecture, and creating responsive user interfaces.

Backend Expertise:

· Proficiency in a modern backend programming language, preferably Python, and

experience with web frameworks like FastAPI or Django/Flask.

· Demonstrable experience in designing, building, and documenting RESTful APIs (e.g.,

using OpenAPI/Swagger).

· Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines (e.g., Kafka,

RabbitMQ).

Database Skills:

· Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema

design and writing efficient queries.

Cloud & DevOps:

· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Familiarity with services

like EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, and IAM is highly desirable.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with ambiguity.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively

in a team with architects, designers, and other engineers.

· A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with a passion for building high-quality

products.

Nice to Haves

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

· Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with

Kubernetes.

· Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog.

· Previous experience working on platforms related to metrics, monitoring, or system

resilience.

· Familiarity with scalable real-time data architectures and performance optimization for dashboards.
