Block Printing Trainer

Role Overview

The Block Printing Trainer will modernize traditional practices, ensuring women create trendy, marketable products while maintaining quality and cultural authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

• Train in fabric preparation, dye mixing, precision printing.
• Teach techniques for colourfastness, consistency, and finishing.
• Prepare SOPs for production flow, fabric treatment, and dye use.
• Mentor women in design innovation – introducing trending motifs, modern fabrics, and seasonal colour palettes.
• Share industry updates (fashion/home décor trends, eco-dyes, sustainable fabrics).
• Support in diversification into apparel, accessories, and home décor items.

Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Textile Design / Fashion / Handicrafts (NIFT preferred) OR 3+ years hands-on experience in block printing and textile crafts.
• Strong knowledge of fabric treatment, natural/eco-friendly dyes, and precision block printing techniques.
• Familiarity with market trends, modern motifs, and color preferences for urban and premium markets.
• Prior experience in artisan training, SHGs, or rural enterprise development preferred.
• Strong communication and demonstration skills in Hindi/local language.

Pay: ₹ ₹1,000.00 per hour
