Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced PlanSwift Estimator / Quantity Takeoff Specialist to work with a US-based client. The candidate will be responsible for overlaying building plans to calculate accurate square footage and quantities for various scopes of work. The role requires strong proficiency in PlanSwift software and a good understanding of construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use PlanSwift to overlay multiple plan sets (architectural, structural, and MEP) to determine accurate quantities and square footage.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for different scopes such as drywall, flooring, painting, roofing, etc.
- Review and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Prepare clear and organized takeoff reports for the client.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all measurements and data reporting.
- Communicate with the client team for clarifications, updates, and revisions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years + of experience in quantity takeoff or estimation using PlanSwift.
- Strong understanding of US construction drawings, units, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and documentation.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with US-based contractors or estimators.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu or other takeoff tools.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
