Job Description:

Orient Paper Mills is looking for an experienced and dynamic
IEM Plant Manager
to lead its
Caustic Soda Unit
operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing and optimizing
IEM Monopolar / Bipolar Plants
of
minimum 100 TPD capacity
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Caustic Soda IEM Plant.
  • Oversee
    electrolyzer assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Ensure smooth production, manpower management, and process optimization.
  • Maintain compliance with
    ISO standards
    , audits, and periodic reporting (daily/monthly/yearly).
  • Implement effective budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
  • Drive improvements in
    safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
    .
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth plant functioning.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 12–15 years
    of experience in Caustic Soda IEM (Monopolar/Bipolar) operations.
  • 3–5 years
    of managerial experience as Dy. Manager / Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of
    electrolyzer systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office
    and familiarity with industry-standard equipment.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Qualification:
    B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
