Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define and refine requirements
  • Design and develop a framework for a highly configurable application spanning UI, middle-tier, and data persistence layers
  • Implement security models, including data encryption
  • Build abstraction layers to streamline development and improve code maintainability
  • Develop RESTful APIs and perform CRUD operations using Java and Spring
  • Perform application performance tuning and optimization
  • Deploy and host applications in cloud environments supporting multi-tenant architectures
  • Provide on-demand 24/7 production support as needed
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver timely fixes
  • Mentor team members and conduct code reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java
  • 4+ years of hands-on web application development experience using Spring Framework, JSON/XML parsers, and related technologies
  • 2+ years of experience working with Elasticsearch
  • Proven experience in architecture and design
  • Strong proficiency with Git version control
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AngularJS 2.x
  • Familiarity with Single Page Application (SPA) development
  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
  • Understanding of cloud-based development and deployment environments
