Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance applications using SAP ABAP on HANA platform.
  • Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting for performance improvement.
  • Create and maintain OData services for SAP Fiori / UI5 applications.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
  • Support system integration, upgrades, and migration projects (S/4HANA).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ABAP and HANA environments.
  • Document technical specifications and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong working knowledge of ABAP on HANA concepts CDS Views, AMDP, Core Data Services, and HANA SQL scripting.
  • Experience with OData service development and SAP Gateway.
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 application integration.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, BADI, BAPI, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SmartForms, ALV, Reports, and Interfaces (IDocs, RFC, Proxy).
  • Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration projects preferred.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
