Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using SAP ABAP on HANA platform.
- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting for performance improvement.
- Create and maintain OData services for SAP Fiori / UI5 applications.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
- Support system integration, upgrades, and migration projects (S/4HANA).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ABAP and HANA environments.
- Document technical specifications and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong working knowledge of ABAP on HANA concepts CDS Views, AMDP, Core Data Services, and HANA SQL scripting.
- Experience with OData service development and SAP Gateway.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 application integration.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, BADI, BAPI, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
- Familiarity with SmartForms, ALV, Reports, and Interfaces (IDocs, RFC, Proxy).
- Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration projects preferred.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
