- Data Analysis & Visualization: Develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports to provide meaningful business insights.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models to organize and structure data for analysis.
- Data Integration: Connect to diverse data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud services, spreadsheets) to collect and unify data.
- Data Transformation: Use tools like Power Query and DAX to clean, shape, and transform raw data into a usable format for reporting.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports and visualizations that tell a story with data, helping to drive decision-making.
- Performance Optimization: Tune and optimize Power BI reports and underlying SQL queries for efficient performance.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Interface with clients to understand requirements, manage projects, and clearly communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, database managers, and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and successful implementation.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Power BI platform, including Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques. Experience connecting to and working with various data sources.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder interaction. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills. Business acumen to understand company processes and align data solutions with business goals.
