Senior Software Development Engineer

Looking for a senior full stack developer with 3 to 8 years of software engineering & product delivery experience and strong particular proficiency in the backend tech stack. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, they will be building and growing the scalability of the platform suite, curate the architecture for new upcoming applications and overlook and improve the system security working directly alongside the CTO. 

They are someone who are currently living in Bangalore or are willing to relocate later and can start immediately or have notice period of 30 days or less.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Participating in meetings as per project requirements
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes with server-side logic to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Taking lead on projects, as needed.  
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams  
• Work on bug fixing and improving overall application performance  
• Continuously discover, evaluate, learn, and implement new programming languages to maximize development efficiency.  

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven software development credentials having successfully built complex products in fintech or similar domains  
• Experience in one or more general programming languages (e.g. Javascript, Typescript, Java) and the ability to learn other coding languages as needed.  
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Server Backend, Microservice System Architecture  
• Scalable Enterprise Platforms and Applications  
• Application Security and Incident Management  
• Sound expertise in AWS services and NoSQL or PostgreSQL database systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 3 to 8 years of software engineering & product delivery experience with strong background in backend frameworks and architecture  
• Bachelors/ Masters or equivalent degree in Engineering or related field
