Job Title: Manufacturing - Shot peening

Preferred candidate profile:

• Previous experience operating shot peening machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with shot peening processes and techniques is beneficial
• Ability to operate and adjust shot peening machines and understand technical specifications. Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
• High level of accuracy in achieving the desired surface finish and ensuring quality standards are met
• Ability to assess the effectiveness of the shot peening process, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings, documenting processes, and collaborating with team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle and maneuverer components, and perform tasks in a manufacturing environment
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other elements related to shot peening operations
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Eng, Additional training or certifications related to shot peening or surface treatment are advantageous
