BMS/IoT Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong technical expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS), including systems like HVAC, Electrical, Security etc. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to solve on-site challenges, work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, and support the commissioning of advanced BMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Commissioning & Testing:

o Commission and test DDC panels (Direct Digital Controllers) and other BMS products, ensuring successful installation and operation.

o Prepare detailed commissioning checklists, pre-commissioning checklists, and site acceptance formats specific to ELV systems (BMS, IoT).

o Troubleshoot and resolve installation and operational issues on-site.

o Configure and test various systems such as AHU, Fan, Chillers, FCU, VAV, Pumps, and ensure proper graphical representation as per client requirements.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

o Work closely with diverse stakeholders, including end-users, contractors, consultants, PMC, and site execution teams.

o Produce engineering documentation including wiring schematics, loop diagrams, cable routing, and commissioning instructions.

o Prepare progress reports, BMS schematics, and schedules to coordinate with main contractors.

• System Configuration & UI Development:

o Knowledge of Honeywell Tridium Niagara, Webs, Trends Etc. Software like Workbench, EBI, Webs, Spyder etc will be an added advantage.

o Assist with configurations, graphics development, UI creation, and analytics configuration for end-user interface requirements.

• Client Interaction & Site Management:

o Attend customer clarification meetings, site visits, and coordinate with customers, consultants, and project teams for smooth site execution.

o Conduct client presentations and trials for BMS and automation systems at pre/post-qualification stages.

o Travel to customer sites, both within and outside Bangalore, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:

o Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

• Technical Expertise:

o Strong experience in commissioning ELV systems (BMS, IoT)

o Proficiency in Honeywell Tridium Niagara, EBI, Webs, Spyder, Workbench, and related BMS software.

o Hands-on experience with graphics development, UI design, and analytics configuration.

• Experience:

o 1-5 years of experience in installation and commissioning of BMS products, including hands-on troubleshooting at site.

o Exposure to modern IBMS projects is an added advantage.

• Certifications:

o Tridium Niagara certification is mandatory.

o Must be open to extensive travel for site visits, both in and outside of Bangalore.

Pay: ₹264, ₹300,000.00 per year
