Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Odoo Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our in-house team. This role involves providing technical support, customizing Odoo modules, and implementing changes based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Odoo ERP system, ensuring it aligns with the organization's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-house Odoo Support
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Odoo ERP users across departments.
  • Resolve functional and technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Manage version upgrades and maintain data integrity during migrations.
  • Module Customization & Changes
  • Customize and configure Odoo modules to meet business requirements (e.g. Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, integrations).
  • Develop and implement changes to existing modules based on stakeholder inputs.
  • Create custom workflows, reports, and dashboards tailored to department needs.
  • Ensure that customizations adhere to best practices and are well-documented for future use.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather requirements and propose solutions.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, and customization details.
  • Train and assist end-users in effectively utilizing Odoo features.

Key Technical Skills

  • Strong programming knowledge in Python.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Odoo ORM.
  • Experience with XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templates for custom reports and UI changes.
  • Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Understanding of Odoo's deployment environment or on-premise).

Functional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Odoo core modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).
  • Ability to map business requirements into Odoo configurations and workflows.
  • Knowledge of Zoho will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in an in-house Odoo support or similar role.
  • Certifications in Odoo development or functional modules.
  • Experience with API integrations (REST, XML-RPC).
