Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Social Studies Teacher located in Delhi, India. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students in world history and social studies, developing and implementing curriculum plans, and facilitating engaging classroom discussions. Duties also include assessing student progress, preparing educational materials, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the overall learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in World History and Social Studies
  • Skills in Curriculum Development and Education
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • A relevant teaching certification or degree in Education or related fields
  • Prior teaching experience at the high school level is a plus
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Required Experience/Skills

  • Postgraduate in the subject, minimum 6 years of overall experience (full-time working) in teaching or curriculum development
  • Education Sector Preferred / School or E- Learning
  • Sound subject knowledge of K-12 sector (must have educational background in the required subject)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Learning management System
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and written/verbal communication skills

  • Work background in the education industry and social inclusion.
