Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Product Manager with deep expertise

in the Payments domain to join our consulting team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate

will bring strong functional knowledge, hands-on experience with global payment

standards, and proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Drive collaboration across business and technology

teams to ensure alignment on product vision and delivery.

  • Requirements Management: Analyse business needs, define scope, and

maintain requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Solution Design: Participate in system architecture discussions and ensure

alignment with business objectives.

  • Agile Delivery: Write Epics and User Stories; manage backlog using tools such

as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Process Documentation: Prepare flow diagrams and functional specifications

using Visio.

  • Development & Testing Support: Provide guidance to application development

and QA teams during implementation phases.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, and cross-border payments.
  • Familiarity with MT/MX messaging formats and message types such as PACS,

CAMT, PAIN.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with Visio for process modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing Epics and User Stories in an Agile

environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and strong interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payments-related certifications (e.g., SWIFT, ISO will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in global consulting or financial services projects.
