What you'll do?

  • Conduct early assessment of segment-level loss rates and take prompt action to mitigate risks.
  • Identify and launch challenger segments, evaluating expected benefits and potential losses.
  • Gain experience in both unsecured and secured lending portfolios.
  • Work closely with the Product team to recommend policy or workflow changes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of in-house systems and demonstrate agility in updating legacy systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with Product and Business teams to design, implement, and monitor underwriting strategies.
  • Drive portfolio actions based on off-us behavior signals from bureau and alternate data triggers.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate implemented strategies to understand their business and risk impact.
  • Foster a self-service culture by analyzing risk reporting trends and enhancing analytics tools for maximum effectiveness.
  • Approach complex risk challenges methodically, ensuring solutions align with BharatPe's core values.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Business teams to drive risk management initiatives.
  • Take a hands-on approach in risk segmentation and proactively identify and assess risks within the portfolio.

Who's the Right Fit for Us?

  • 2-8 years in Risk Analytics or Portfolio Management within Financial Services, Fintech, or NBFCs, preferably unsecured loans.
  • Strong skills in defining risk strategies, portfolio management, and building risk models and policies.
  • Curious mindset with the ability to assess acquisition and portfolio-level risks.
  • Growth-driven and tech-savvy, aiming for scalable, high-impact solutions.
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis, data mining, and trend analysis using tools like SQL and Python.
  • Experience with alternate data and bureau data to design effective risk strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with all levels including CXOs.
