  • Monitor power generation and projects related to Power Plants CPP & WHRS and ensure self-sufficiency in terms of power generation at all integrated plants
  • Ensure commercially, safe reliable and profitable operation of the plant and Availability during emergencies arising in plant operations including off site location
  • Oversee control room operational activities in shift and monitor parameters to ensure safe & smooth running and avoid tripping, all emergencies and troubleshooting, which occurs during running of plant.
  • Monitor improvement of Plant efficiency, Reduction of stoppages, Reduction of Station Heat Rate, Reduction of Auxiliary Power Consumption
  • Ensure all power plants are running all the operational parameters within permissible limit
  • Oversee generation, maintenance and modification projects for power plants
  • Oversee exploration, execution and commissioning, project activity, operations and maintenance of all new projects
  • Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements related to operating plant; Liaison with government agency like boiler inspector and Electrical inspector for the same
  • Monitor preparation of various daily/monthly reports, proper isolation of equipment for shutdown/breakdown maintenance
  • Monitor preparation and ensure execution of standard operating procedure
  • Monitor performance parameters, report deviations and analyse parameters regularly
  • Oversee process parameters & analyse to achieve departmental goals on aux power consumption, cost etc.; monitor equipment healthiness
  • Oversee CPP & WHRS control room operational activities and monitor parameters to ensure safe & smooth running
  • Identify new projects for power plant performance improvement.
  • Educate to workers & sub ordinates about safety rules.
