PowerApps Intern – Job DescriptionPosition Overview

We are seeking a motivated PowerApps Intern to support the design, development, and implementation of low-code business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The intern will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to streamline workflows, automate processes, and deliver user-friendly applications that enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, testing, and deploying business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps).
  • Support automation initiatives by developing Power Automate flows to streamline repetitive business processes.
  • Help design and optimize Dataverse tables, SharePoint lists, and SQL connectors for application backends.
  • Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and translate them into functional prototypes.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, bug fixing, and documentation of developed applications.
  • Support integration of PowerApps with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Participate in team stand-ups, sprint reviews, and code/documentation reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Knowledge of basic programming concepts (JavaScript, C#, or SQL is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn quickly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to Power BI dashboards and reporting.
  • Familiarity with APIs, REST services, or third-party connector integration.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the PowerApps Intern will gain:

  • Hands-on experience in low-code/no-code application development.
  • Exposure to enterprise workflow automation and digital transformation projects.
  • Skills in working with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Practical experience in deploying and maintaining PowerApps in a professional environment.

Duration & Compensation

  • Internship Duration: 3–6 months
  • Compensation: Paid/Unpaid (based on organization policy)
  • Location: Remote/On-site/Hybrid

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹5, ₹20,000.00 per month
