Role & responsibilities

  • Converting customer forecast to raw material requirements as per BoM.
  • Material planning and scheduling as per lead-times.
  • Releasing purchase orders to suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Aligning raw material to monthly production plan without any shortages/production disruptions.
  • Connecting the logistics team with suppliers for smooth imports/inbound shipments.
  • Coordinating with Stores and QA to resolve material related issues.
  • Updating material status on daily basis.
  • Maintaining optimum inventory levels.
  • Reducing the material costs through negotiations and alternate sourcing.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Must be good at oral and written communications.
  • Must have working experience in MS Office and ERP system (SAP).
  • Candidate from electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.
