•The position in discussion is with the Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL), which is KPMG's global delivery center and is an integral part of the firm's strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.
•KRC Audit is a fast-growing team that is servicing KPMG's European audit clients and few other countries. Majority of our work is for the UK audit practice, but we are also serving KPMG - Holland, Australia, Cayman Island, Channel Island, Bermuda, Switzerland and UAE. We are looking at ways of growing the number of countries we serve.
•You will be part of a new Assurance team for the UK geography which is outlined below. This team will play a key part in KPMG delivering the assurance that stakeholders increasingly demand on complex and judgmental areas of Tax.
•As part of the Audit of Tax CoE you will be provided with the opportunity to support audit engagement teams with their audit quality efforts to deliver complex and judgmental assurance activities. You will have the exposure of working on a wide range of clients from listed to owner managed businesses across a variety of industries and reporting in line with UK GAAP (FRS101/ FRS102) and IFRS.

Responsibilities
•You will work with managers to deliver high quality work in line with tax accounting standards and auditing requirements
•Complete the first review of audit of tax documentation in line with KPMG's quality standards and the internal KPMG Assurance Manual
•Resolve day to day issues in delivering the assignment
•Juggle multiple requests when working on different engagements
•Lead and coach a team of juniors while working on onshore audits
•Building relationships with engagement teams and acting as an ambassador for the firm
•Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop the business and grow the team by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
•Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore
•Deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews
•Work with L&D team to identify training needs
•Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members.
Qualifications
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Chartered Accountant (ICAI/ ACCA/ ACA)
Work experience
•3+ years of experience with a Big 4 or a reputed organisation
•Knowledge of audit work over tax balances under UKGAAP (FRS101/ FRS102) and IFRS will be advantageous
•IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint
