Azure Administrator with Windows and Scripting

Skillset Required:


• Provisioning and administration experience on Azure IaaS (compute, storage & network) / PaaS services.

• Experience on configuring and management of Azure Policies, Azure AD, IAM, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Scale-set, DNS, Azure Monitor is required.

• Hands on Experience on provisioning, Managing Azure vNet, vNet Peering, IP Management, Resource Management, NSG, VPN configuration.

• Expertise on Azure IAM, MFA & AAD

• Experience on troubleshooting windows in Azure environment.

• Experience of Azure ARM Templates and make the necessary changes as per the need..

• Experience in setting up monitoring, analytical, optimization tools (Azure Native Services).

• Experience in Azure Subscription management, Azure Advisory & Azure cost management.

• Track the performance, security, and health of your infrastructure with the tools available in Azure Monitor.

• Create/manage technical reference documentation (policy, procedures, knowledgebase, Runbooks, etc.)

• Automating the repetitive tasks on Azure infrastructure using Azure functions with any scripting language such as Windows PowerShell / Python scripting.

• Good scripting knowledge on Windows PowerShell or Python is recommended.

• In-depth knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers.

• Apply Windows OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis. Configure / add new services as necessary.

• Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exception.

• Debug/troubleshoot memory, filesystem issues etc.

• Configure, Monitor & Perform Native Azure Back-ups and recovery.

• Deploy applications, performance fine tuning, troubleshooting, maintain security, and automate routine procedures through scripting.

• Experience in systems administration supporting a medium to large scale Windows Server environment.

• Knowledge on Azure Site Recovery Manager will be a plus.

• Knowledge on ServiceNow is recommended.

• Excellent soft skills & Communication (Verbal and Written).
