About the Real-Time Coaching (RTC) Team

The Real-Time Coaching (RTC) team is a critical component of KnowBe4's product development, focused on delivering features, enhancing product quality, and improving system stability. We are committed to building a robust and scalable platform, with a roadmap that includes major initiatives.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be a contributing member of the team, helping to bridge our capacity gap and accelerate long-term strategic projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing minor features and enhancements for the RTC application.
• Contributing to API integration development.
• Writing unit tests and actively working to improve code coverage.
• Participating in code reviews and learning software development best practices.
• Assisting with bug fixes and general maintenance tasks.

What You'll Bring (Required Skills)

We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong foundation in software development:

• Strong foundation in frontend frameworks.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• A strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Frontend: Vue,Svelte
• Backend: Python,Django,FastAPI, RoR, GraphQL,DynamoDB , PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Cloud & Infra: AWS Lambda, SQS,EventBridge, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD

• Increased feature delivery velocity for minor features.
• Improving code quality through bug resolution and new unit tests.
• The modernization and optimization of legacy code components.
• The creation of comprehensive technical documentation for key modules.
