As part of our expanding AI and Digital Health agenda, we are building foundational intelligence across India's rapidly evolving AI ecosystem—spanning academia, government, PSUs, research institutions, startups, and corporate entities.

Overview
This is a high-impact, research-driven internship for a sharp, curious, and analytically strong individual who wants to work at the cutting edge of AI, digital innovation, and public health strategy.

The intern will play a critical role in building a comprehensive, structured, and high-quality database of institutions and organizations across India that are developing, deploying, or enabling AI initiatives—with a strong relevance to health, governance, and public systems.

Your work will directly support Vital Strategies' AI and Digital Health strategy, partnerships, and future program design.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Ecosystem & Institutional Research Conduct desk research on AI-active institutions: IITs/IISc/universities/research labs; govt depts/PSUs; think tanks/multilaterals; corporates/startups/partners.
• Database Development & Intelligence Mapping Build/maintain database of: org details/focus; AI work type (research/deployment/policy/products/pilots); contacts/partnerships/geographies; public/digital health relevance. Ensure accuracy/usability for decisions.
• Team & Operational Support Handle meetings/documentation/coordination for AI/digital health. Provide operational and administrative support as and when needed.
• Assist with other tasks as assignned by the mentor.

Education And Experience

• This is a full-time, in-office internship in New Delhi. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
