Job Summary

La Freightlift Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Air & Sea Import to oversee and manage import operations. This role involves handling air & sea import processes, team management, pricing negotiations, documentation, and customer coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage air & sea import operations from start to finish.
  • Lead and supervise the import operations team to achieve performance targets.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and customers.
  • Prepare and manage all import documentation to ensure timely customs clearance.
  • Negotiate freight rates and finalize pricing with service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to improve process efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in air & sea import operations.
  • Freight forwarding experience is mandatory.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Good knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance process.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
