Job Title: Finance Operations Controller
Responsibility: To support reporting and analysis of Manufacturing Plant's Costs, Capitalization (EVP), Working Capital, Capital Expenditure, Costing, Productivity Targets and import/export operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performing costing of products including running standard costs update, update of BOM recipes, communication with Production team to ensure costing variance is understood and updated timely. Experience of performing standard costing in SAP is essential to this role.
- Provide active business decision support for manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.
- Ability to understand how plant activities and cost rates translate into product costs. Experience in executing product costing and implement controls to ensure costing accuracy.
- Identify, lead projects to drive process change and improvement generate cash, reduce variable and fixed costs, process yield improvements, reduce cycle time, etc
- Drive forecast/budget processes and continuously challenge financials costs remain competitive.
- Develop KPIs, track and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery against agreed targets.
- Keep abreast of accounting standards and implement controls proactively to support compliance.
- Maintain a "no surprise" financial reporting environment through timely and thorough review of all financial aspects.
- Coordinate with other functional/business teams (eg. shared services, legal, tax, marketing, commercial), across cultural and geographical boundaries to ensure delivery of value.
Provide financial evaluation and justification for Capital Expenditure projects that deliver target returns.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education: Degree in business, finance or accounting. Professional certification(s) a plus
Experience: 7-10 years of which 2 years as finance controller of mid size plant in an MNC
Know-how/skills: Good working knowledge of SAP and have experience using business intelligent tools to extract data for analysis
