Position Overview:

The Tender Profile in our Solar Company is a critical role responsible for managing the tendering process from initiation to submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements and delivering high-quality proposals. This role requires a strong understanding of solar energy projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management:
  • Initiate, manage, and coordinate the end-to-end tendering process for solar projects.
  • Analyze tender documents to understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender responses.
  • Proposal Development:
  • Develop comprehensive and competitive proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical and financial teams to integrate accurate and compelling information.

  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines.

  • Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of tender requirements and regulations.
  • Ensure all tender submissions adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address any tender-related issues.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to identify upcoming solar projects and potential tender opportunities.
  • Analyze competitors and industry trends to enhance the company's competitive position in tenders.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary to understand client needs.
  • Costing and Pricing:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure competitive yet profitable pricing models are reflected in tender submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing tender processes for solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies and market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of tendering.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project management certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the solar industry.
  • Proficiency in using tender management software.
