Electrical Manager

At JLL, the Electrical Manager supports the Project Lead in managing and executing Contruction projects for commercial and corporate spaces. This role involves assisting with project coordination, technical oversight, and team management to ensure successful delivery of fitout projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, construction, or related fields, with excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Lead in planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical works.

Help develop and review interior design plans, specifications, and drawings.

Support in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients.

Conduct site visits to monitor fitout progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Assist in preparing technical reports, change orders, and project documentation.

Help identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues related to fitout works.

Support quality control processes and ensure adherence to building codes and safety standards.

Contribute to client presentations and progress meetings.

Assist in mentoring junior team members and technicians.

Support the procurement process for fitout materials, furniture, and equipment.

Help prepare project proposals and cost estimates for fitout projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in commercial fitout projects.

Strong knowledge of interior construction processes, materials, and finishes.

Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project).

Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and WELL building standards.

Understanding of MEP systems and their integration in fitout projects.

Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.

Familiarity with workplace strategy and space planning principles.
