About the Role

We are looking for a strong Robotics & IoT Engineer who can work on end-to-end system development—covering sensors, embedded controllers, actuators, communication interfaces, testing, and on-field deployments.

You will be part of a team building next-generation automation, smart devices, and robotic systems across industrial and commercial environments.

This role requires someone who is hands-on, practical, and capable of owning modules independently in dynamic R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Embedded & IoT Development

  • Develop firmware for microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, PIC, etc.
  • Implement communication protocols: CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, RS485, MQTT, Modbus.
  • Integrate sensors and measurement units (temperature, current, weight, motion, etc.).
  • Build data acquisition, device communication, and telemetry modules.

2. Robotics Systems & Actuators

  • Work with motors, motor drivers, servo systems, BLDC controllers, encoders, etc.
  • Handle robotic subsystems like navigation control, path execution, and feedback loops.
  • Implement safety mechanisms, limit checks, and system reliability controls.
  • Assist in mechanical assembly, mounting, wiring, and mechatronics integration.

3. System Integration & Testing

  • Combine hardware, firmware, and software modules into a working system.
  • Conduct bench testing, validation, calibration, and field trials.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and communication-related issues.
  • Prepare test logs, wiring diagrams, circuit-level documentation.

4. Cloud & API Integration (IoT Side)

  • Connect devices to cloud platforms using MQTT/REST APIs.
  • Work with dashboards, telemetry pipelines, and device monitoring systems.
  • Handle OTA updates, device provisioning, and secure communication.

5. Deployment & Support

  • Participate in on-site installation, commissioning, and user training.
  • Provide remote and on-field support for deployed robotics/IoT systems.
  • Work on continuous improvements and iterative enhancements based on field feedback.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers
  • Proficiency in C / C++ / MicroPython
  • Experience with motor control (BLDC, DC, stepper, servo)
  • Good understanding of IoT communication layers
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and datasheets
  • Practical hands-on ability with tools, soldering, wiring, and prototyping
  • Strong debugging skills across hardware + firmware

Good to Have

  • Exposure to robotics platforms (ROS is optional, not mandatory)
  • Experience with PCB design tools (Altium/KiCad)
  • Familiarity with battery systems, power electronics, or safety circuits
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS IoT/Azure IoT/Custom dashboards)
  • Experience working with industrial sensors and actuators
  • Understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
