Production Planner

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in alignment with customer orders and forecasted demand.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Generate reports on production status, output, and potential delays or issues.
  • Maintain ERP/MRP systems with accurate and up-to-date planning data.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align planning activities with business goals.
  • Proficient in planning software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Excel, MRP/ERP systems).

Additional Technical Specifications/ Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical) or other related field or equivalent education.
  • Experience with semiconductor assembly, Quality standards and MS Office, MS Project, operating system.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, production planning software, and data analysis tools
  • Good English knowledge (writing, reading, and speaking).
  • Practical understanding of modern production and quality management tools, like lean manufacturing, six sigma and TPM.
  • Production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Process specific knowledge (technology, process, material, supplier, etc) of his/her process ownership.
